Archivists, conservators and archaeologists are often confronted with damaged objects and fragmented artifacts whose manual recovery is no longer possible. Making these artifacts digitally usable with the help of the tools we have developed is an elementary part of the indexing process. It is the prerequisite both for further scientific processing and for professional digital preservation and presentation of the cultural assets. The preservation and exploration of scientific and cultural heritage is one of the overriding goals of our development projects.
