Digital (re-)utilisation of fragile or damaged written and cultural goods.
MFB MusterFabrik Berlin GmbH is a young Berlin-based company dedicated to the preservation of fragile or damaged written and cultural heritage. For this purpose, we develop novel automated scanning systems for the digitization of 2-D and 2.5-D objects as well as innovative software assistance systems for the visualization, annotation and digital recovery of large quantities of damaged written material or fragmented assets.
Our extensive expertise makes us a unique partner for sustainable, preservation-friendly digitization and digital processing of (damaged) written and cultural goods. To this end, we implement solutions that can be integrated into the user’s existing, higher-level processes in a task-specific manner and without media discontinuity.
