Development of a mobile scanner in cooperation with KulturGutRetter for the documentation of damaged archive material in crisis situations.

MusterFabrik Berlin is developing a prototype mobile scanner for documenting damaged archival materials in crisis situations together with KulturGutRetter, a project of the Archaeological Heritage Network. The project of MusterFabrik Berlin is developed through the knowledge of scanning systems and handling of fragile cultural property. KulturGutRetter is supported by the German Archaeological Institute (DAI), the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) and the Roman-Germanic Central Museum (RGZM).
